Sabroso (formerly Toque Libre) returns with their new format and line up to Jimmy Mak's, for an evening of dancing and funky Latin rhythms.

Their latest musical offering is called “Sabroso”, meaning flavorful in Spanish. Sabroso starts were Toque Libre left off…the next chapter. Dance floors will move and groove to the sophisticated Latin rhythms of Toque Libre and the steady funky soul pulse of Rubberneck. Sabroso features some of Portland’s most well known and talented musicians. The band’s rhythmic foundation is brought to you by Pablo Ojeda on bass/vocals, Ward “The Warden” Griffiths on drums/percussion, and Carl “Hands of fire” Smith on percussion. The horn section showcases the incredible talents of Paul Mazzio on trumpet and Josh Cliburn on saxophone. Adding to the depth of talent is the hook laden piano styling of Dave a.k.a. “Sprinkles” Fleschner on piano. Last but not least, is Ricardo Ojeda on guitar/vocals. Saboroso also welcomes the newest member Paul Creighton on vocals.
